Biography

Lana is a Senior Associate in the Philanthropic Services practice at CEA. Her work focuses on domestic climate change mitigation, and her expertise includes policy and technology solutions for decarbonization of the four major energy sectors: electricity, transportation, buildings, and industry.

Prior to joining CEA, Lana spent almost five years on the Philanthropic Advisory Services team at Energy Innovation, where she developed and implemented philanthropic strategies for the firm’s clients. The giving portfolios that she helped manage focused on advancing durable, high-impact solutions to climate change, primarily in the U.S. Before that, Lana was Program Coordinator at Malama Kaua’i—a nonprofit focused on promoting and supporting sustainable agriculture on the island of Kaua’i—where she supervised program leads and managed grant applications and compliance.

Lana holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Amherst College and was a 2022 fellow of the Clean Energy Leadership Institute.
