Sea Change Investment Fund

A growth equity fund to support sustainable seafood

The Sea Change Investment Fund is a growth equity fund launched in 2005 by CEA to make environmentally-driven investments in seafood-related companies that promote market access to seafood from environmentally preferable sources. The $20 million fund is capitalized by a program related investment from the Packard Foundation, matched by a private equity investment from private donors, in a unique blend of philanthropic and private capital. The fund has made investments into six companies. CEA designed and developed the fund and has managed the fund since inception, conducting business and financial due diligence, structuring transactions, and providing strategic guidance and support for portfolio companies.
