Biography

Sydney Sanders joined CEA Consulting in 2016 and is currently a Senior Associate supporting the Philanthropic Services Practice. She works across several environmental issue areas including sustainable seafood, climate mitigation, and regenerative agriculture. Her expertise includes project management, strategy development, conservation markets initiatives, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning programs. Some of her clients have included the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the Walton Family Foundation, and the Slow Money Institute. Additionally, Sydney currently leads monitoring, evaluation, and learning efforts for the Climate Breakthrough Project. Sydney was also the lead project manager for the 2020 Global Review of Fishery Improvement Projects, a global landscape assessment in which she managed a team, conducted dozens of interviews with key informants, and co-led site visits in three countries.

Sydney holds a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Environmental Policy from Middlebury College.
