Sydney Sanders is an Associate supporting the Philanthropic Services Practice at CEA. She works across several environmental issue areas on strategy development, funder collaborations, and conservation markets initiatives, for clients such as the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, Walton Family Foundation, Environmental Defense Fund, Pew Charitable Trusts, and World Wildlife Fund.
Prior to joining CEA, Sydney interned for the Kresge Foundation and two environmental nonprofits in Detroit.
Sydney holds a Bachelor’s of Arts, magna cum laude, in Environmental Studies with a Focus in Policy from Middlebury College. While at Middlebury, she co-wrote a report for state legislators on the impacts of Vermont’s proposed carbon pollution tax on its low-income residents, and helped develop a rebate distribution system. She also studied sustainable development in Copenhagen for a semester.
In her free time, Sydney enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with her dogs.
