Megna Patel is an Associate supporting the Environmental Policy & Advocacy group at CEA. She joined CEA in 2019 and works across several environmental issue areas to support a variety of clients in the private and non-profit sectors. Megna’s expertise includes program management, strategy development, and communications. Some of her clients have included Environmental Defense Fund, California Council for Environmental and Economic Balance, and a consortium of electric utilities and technology suppliers developing standards for the energy storage industry.
Prior to joining CEA, Megna completed a fellowship with University of California Office of the President where she created and directed a student ambassadors program for professional skill building and leadership in climate action.
Megna graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a B.S. in Environmental Science and a minor in Environmental Engineering. At UCLA, she led her senior capstone team in researching the distribution of stormwater pollution sources in the Los Cerritos Channel Watershed.
