Olivia Mahony

Olivia Mahony is an Associate supporting the Recruiting and Organizational Design Services and Regulatory and Government Affairs practices at CEA. She serves her clients by successfully managing complex projects and helping to develop strategic recommendations for project implementation, all while incorporating her experience with diverse stakeholder engagement.

For the past five years, Olivia has placed hundreds of graduate students into for-profit, nonprofit, and public-sector opportunities to act as energy problem solvers. In addition, she has identified top talent in Executive- and program- level positions for her clients in a variety of environmental sectors, including conservation, climate, and energy.

Since its inception in 2016, Olivia has staffed the Klamath River Renewal Corporation (KRRC), a nonprofit formed through a Settlement Agreement to assume ownership of four dams along the Klamath River, decommission them, and restore the river. To support this multi-stakeholder project, she provides Board management and programmatic and strategic support for the Executive Director.

Prior to joining CEA, Olivia interned with U.S. Senator Mark Udall’s office and the Colorado Coalition of Land Trusts. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Phi Beta Kappa, high honors) and a minor in Social and Economic Justice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
