Biography

Jenny is a Senior Associate in the Philanthropic Services practice at CEA. Her work focuses on environmental education, climate change, nature-based carbon sequestration and storage, and the intersection of pollution and human and environmental health. Jenny has worked with clients such as Patagonia, ClimateWorks Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, and The David and Lucile Packard Foundation. Recent engagements have included developing a climate strategy for a foundation and researching microplastic pollution solutions for a nonprofit client.

Prior to joining CEA, Jenny worked in philanthropy for The Nature Conservancy in Vermont. She’s also led trail crews for the Youth Conservation Corps in Yellowstone National Park, been a wilderness expedition leader for the Appalachian Mountain Club, and spent two years serving as an AmeriCorps Member doing environmental education at a raptor center and protected area stewardship for The Nature Conservancy.

Jenny holds a BA, magna cum laude, in environmental studies with a focus in conservation biology from Middlebury College.

Jenny grew up in the heart of the oil and gas industry in Oklahoma, which prompted her interests in fostering a just transition to renewable energy and protecting people and the environment from pollution. On Sunday mornings, you can usually find Jenny enjoying a homemade latte before embarking on a long trail run in the Presidio.
