Jenny Moffett

Biography

Jenny Moffett is a Research Associate in the Philanthropy Services Practice at CEA. She works across environmental issue areas including marine conservation, conservation markets initiatives, and technology and innovation, for clients including The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Oceankind, and The Nature Conservancy.

Prior to joining CEA, Jenny worked a fundraiser for The Nature Conservancy in Vermont. She’s also worked for several seasons leading Youth Conservation Corps for the National Park Service in Yellowstone, been a wilderness expedition leader for the Appalachian Mountain Club, and spent two years serving as an AmeriCorps Member doing environmental education at a raptor center and protected area stewardship for The Nature Conservancy.

Jenny holds a Bachelor’s of Arts, magna cum laude, in Environmental Studies with a focus in Conservation Biology from Middlebury College. While at Middlebury, Jenny studied water policy in the American West, the ecological impacts of dams, and creative environmental writing. She was also the president of the outing club and outdoor interest house. During a semester abroad in Australia, she co-authored a paper on seabird conservation.

In her spare time, Jenny enjoys backpacking, trail running, and swimming in the Bay.
