James Falino is an Associate supporting the Environmental Policy & Advocacy group at CEA. James joined CEA in 2018 bringing his experience in government, research, stakeholder engagement, and project finance law to support clients in the private and non-profit sectors including Environmental Defense Fund and the Association of American Railroads.
Prior to joining CEA, James worked in New York as a Legal Assistant in the Project Development and Finance practice at Shearman & Sterling LLP, supporting the financing and restructuring of projects in energy and infrastructure. He also interned at the District Office of Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney (D–NY 18th District).
James graduated from Vassar College with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Science, Technology, and Society. While at Vassar, he contributed to the Climate Action Plan, ran the weekly Farmer’s Market, and modeled an internal carbon charge program as a summer Research Fellow.
