Aaron’s work centers on supporting foundations and nonprofits with their climate change and marine biodiversity strategies. His areas of expertise include electricity decarbonization, agricultural climate mitigation, conservation funding, and marine biodiversity protection. He has supported long-term strategy development for foundations and nonprofits; managed and conducted research projects; developed and analyzed philanthropic funding databases; and supported projects with data analysis. Recent client engagements include the Climate and Land Use Alliance, Oceans 5, the Walton Family Foundation, the ClimateWorks Foundation, and Environmental Defense Fund. Prior to joining CEA, Aaron worked on offshore wind equity with Brightline Defense.
Aaron has a bachelor’s degree (Phi Beta Kappa) in environmental economics & policy and society & environment from the University of California, Berkeley.
