CEA Staff

Alden provides strategic advice and program evaluation to CEA's philanthropic and non-profit clients, and also works in CEA's corporate sustainability practice, helping clients understand and reduce their environmental impact. He has helped build several philanthropic environmental programs, and has experience working on range of issues including marine conservation, climate change, chemical management, payments for ecosystem services, green building, and waste management.

Prior to joining CEA, Alden spent several years at Analysis Group, an economic and strategy consultancy, where he built models that helped uncover complex trends and drive strategy for financial and securities-related commercial litigation. Alden also worked in the firm’s international transfer pricing group, developing strategies for corporate tax planning and compliance.

Alden has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Philosophy from Middlebury College.

Outside of the office, Alden spends as much time as possible exploring California on foot and ski.
