CEA Staff

Caroline is a Research Associate supporting CEA’s philanthropic and recruiting practices. Prior to joining CEA, Caroline lived in New York City while working for Ecosystem Marketplace, a program of the non-profit Forest Trends. At Ecosystem Marketplace, Caroline was editor of both the Voluntary Carbon and Water Environmental Trading newsletters. She also co-authored "State of the Global Water Protection Marketplace 2009", and served as a contributor to "State of the Forest Carbon Markets 2009."

Caroline received her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Barnard College, Columbia University, where she wrote her thesis on demand in the voluntary carbon offset market. She first studied natural resource economics while living in South Africa and attending the University of Cape Town.

Outside of the office, Caroline enjoys running, biking, cooking, live music, and exploring beautiful San Francisco.
