Sustainable Finance

CEA's sustainable finance practice blends significant financial industry experience with an uncommon understanding of the operational "nuts and bolts" of sustainability. This combination can take many forms. At its most advanced, CEA's sustainable finance practice has designed and launched a private growth equity fund with a sustainability mandate. Similarly, CEA has worked with both foundations and nonprofits to craft strategies that use venture capital and other investment tools as levers for improving environmental outcomes. This conceptual work is complemented by practical, on-the-ground experience in conservation finance. We have run several business planning efforts for conservation areas, including national parks and marine protected areas.
