CHEMICAL STRATEGIES PARTNERSHIP
[www.chemicalstrategies.org]
Founded in 1996, Chemical Strategies Partnership's (CSP) mission is to reduce chemical
use, waste, risks, and cost through the transformation of the chemical supply chain by
redefining the way chemicals are used and sold. CSP promotes chemical management
services (CMS), a business model in which a customer engages with a chemical service provider
to supply and manage the customer's chemicals and related services. In this new model,
manufacturers shift away from a traditional supplier relationship to a strategic alliance
with a chemical service provider. Instead of purchasing chemicals, the manufacturer purchases
chemical services: assistance in purchasing, managing, and tracking chemicals. This shift to
chemical services directly aligns the incentives of the service provider and manufacturer to
reduce chemical use and costs.

CONSERVATION AND COMMUNITY INVESTMENT FORUM
[www.cciforum.org]
The Conservation and Community Investment
Forum (CCIF) is a non-profit consultancy which designs incentive based
environmental solution approaches on behalf of major international
capital providers and foundations. Our mission is to transform the
fundamentally flawed systems of financial and regulatory incentives
that drive the planet's most unsustainable and destructive industries.
CCIF specializes in developing business concepts to address the negative
incentives inherent in many markets - incentives that lead to environmental
degradation and social disintegration.
CCIF researches and identifies opportunities
where targeted private investment can effectively stop destructive
or natural resource extraction practices and address major social
problems, and do so profitably. CCIF focuses on small, targeted
equity investments. Our activities include developing new business
models, coordinating non-profit and for-profit capital investors,
and conducting research and analysis (due diligence) on organizations
who will lead local efforts, and facilitating the initiation of
international projects.
