MELINDA HANSON [melinda@ceaconsulting.com]
Melinda Hanson is a research associate supporting CEA's work on regulatory and compliance issues, sustainable business, and conservation strategies.  She also assists the non-profit Chemical Strategies Partnership (CSP).

Prior to joining CEA, Ms. Hanson worked for the Independent Media Institute, a non-profit organization focused on amplifying independent journalism online.  Before that, she worked as a research assistant on two separate projects for the San Francisco Department of Public Health, Environmental and Occupational Health sector.  The first project focused on researching the political, social and economic barriers preventing environmental legislation from being effectively implemented.  In the second, Ms. Hanson helped develop a tool to assess the pedestrian environment in San Francisco.

Ms. Hanson graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz and holds a BA in environmental studies and English literature.
